Gladiator Tennis Leagues

Love the Gladiator tennis league. Good way to be competitive and meet new people in your area!

Newly updated app is significantly better for tracking everything and the scores. I've also found the private ratings of other players plus expectations set by Gladiator create a good pick-up tennis culture among the people I play, and if there is an issue it gets addressed. People respond to messages for scheduling (the incentives structure helps too) and I've been able to get all my matches in. Perhaps one of the best is the rating based on the spread of scores, so if someone is winning all their matches 6-0, 6-0 they move up a level or for the inverse they move down, like relagtion in soccer. It helps tremendously to having 5-6 of my 8 matches in a season being good, competitive matches at my level. Overall highly recommended.

I’ve played in the Gladiator Tennis league for most of the last three years. It is a well organized and flexible league. Generally if you make a reasonable effort to schedule in advance and can be somewhat flexible in your schedule, you can get the matches in. It is a great way to find local hitting partners. I look forward to every season.

After a long break from tennis, I found Gladiator tennis, and I'm really glad that I did. I rediscovered my love of the game and also found a fantastic way to scratch that competitive itch with matches all within 30min of my home. I've been playing Gladiator now for 3 or 4 years - doubles and singles - and have met A TON of great people and played lots of competitive matches since they match you with opponents of similar level. I highly recommend joining, no matter your level. If you are picking up tennis for the first time or are a competitive player, you will have a great time. Play year round!

My wife and I signed up for the spring mixed doubles season, and had so much fun, meeting other teams and competing. Steve runs a wonderful league (numerous divisions with different skill levels ) and what makes this great is that he takes the time out to answer all calls and questions. If you like Tennis, like me, you should sign up and try:)
